The Akihabara district of Tokyo is the center for all things Otaku. This area just outside the massive Yodobashi Akiba electronics store is dedicated to mobile gaming.

The Meguru river is an all time favorite Hanami spot in Tokyo. This shot was taken on a bridge in Naka-Meguro, an oasis of quite in the middle of bustling Tokyo.
Spent three weeks in Japan during Sakura season of 2010, and tried to use my camera for video as well as just photos. This is what came out of a fantastic trip across Tokyo, Kamakura, Kyoto, Himeji, Hiroshima , Nara, and back to Tokyo.

Sakura season is loved by everyone. And in 2010 when the sakura finally bloomed people as is customary filled the parks for hanami.
Even Darth Vader decided to leave the light saber at home and enjoy the day in Tokyo’s Yoyogi park.

Taking photos of Himeji Castle is a sweet and sour experience. It is such a spectacular subject but the flip side is that you photos easily end up looking a bit like a post card.
